Qatar Foundation Offsite Warehouse and Distribution Centre project works comprise of Design (of the Pre-engineered structure), Procurement, Construction, Testing and Commissioning of the State-of-the-Art Warehouse and related facilities, as detailed below.
- The Medical Warehouse (Warehouse 1) with fully automated sorter system, supports the Sidra Medical Research Center (SMRC) operation. The Warehouse is planned as a 28,655 square-meter facility to support a planned 550-bed SMRC. This facility is designed to hold approximately six months of inventory of all items that will be consumed by the SMRC except for pharmaceuticals.
- The General Warehouse (Warehouse 2) supports the Qatar Foundation (QF) warehousing requirements. The warehouse is planned as a 14,398 square-meter facility to support the warehousing requirements of the Qatar Foundation (QF). The facility is designed with two separate sections: Ai-conditioned and Temperature Controlled Storages.
- The Common Facilities, this facility houses the common services and support both medical and general warehouses. The common facilities are planned as a 5,900 square-meter facility to support both the medical and general warehouses.
